Marlin Fishing Costa Rica
Fly fishing is quickly becoming the most popular excursion within Costa Rica because of the incredibly large variety of species which can be caught through this exhilarating form of fishing. Quepos is one of the most highly recommended coastal towns on the Pacific side of Costa Rica when it comes to fly fishing for Marlin. Blue and Black Marlin are the most common, however once in awhile a striped Marlin is caught and released because of its rarity. Offshore fly fishing is the absolute best way to catch Marlin and anytime during the months from December to May.
